Q.How long does it take to receive my free digital proof?

A.Digital proofs are typically available within one to two business days.

Q.How do I change the shipping or billing address on my order?

A.Once the product is blocked for shipping, the shipping address cannot be changed. You can however change your billing or shipping address anytime by logging into your account and updating your profile details. You can add multiple shipping addresses. Q.Can I spread my image across multiple canvases of different sizes?

A.Absolutely! We have lots of creative layouts and configurations available for multi-canvas installations. Contact us at for more details.

Q.What kind of laminate/protection do you add to the canvas?

A.Every canvas we create is treated with an ultra-protective UV-matte laminate. This means your print will never crack, flake, fade or bubble.

Q.Do you offer canvas sizes any bigger or smaller than the options on your website?

Q.Do you have other color options for photo borders other than black and white?

Q.I have a low resolution picture - can it be printed on canvas?

A.Yes of course. For best results, we suggest you use one of our pre-set effects or our designer services to adjust the resolution and sharpness of the picture before printing. For more details, please email us at

Q.I have an old photograph that is partially degraded. What are my options?

A.If you have hard-copy of the photograph, please mail it to us. Our in-house designers will take care of the rest. If you would like to send a scanned image, we suggest scanning at a very high resolution for best results. This service comes at a very reasonable additional cost. Contact us at for more details.

Q. My piece has been damaged upon arrival. What do I do?

A.While we make every effort to ensure your canvas arrives in perfect condition, sometimes things happen. Hold on to packaging, take pictures of damage if possible and contact us. We will ship out a reprint ASAP. Contact us at for more details.

Care and Use

Q.Can I hang my artwork outside?

A.Although our pieces have a UV limiting lamination on them, no artwork should ever be hung in direct sunlight for prolonged periods of time. Additionally, while we use a water-resistant coating it is not 100% waterproof. Under direct sunlight, any painting, photo, artwork or even wall paint will fade a lot faster than you would have though possible. Keep it displayed lovingly indoors and your artwork will love you back for many years to come.

Q.Are there any special mounting instructions I should follow when hanging my piece?

A. All framed prints come ready-to-hang out of the box with gallery-strength piano wire. All you need is a hook/nail in the wall. If you have any special framing requirements, contact us at and we will try our best to accomodate your requirements.

Q. How do I clean/maintain my canvas?

A.The best way to clean the canvas is with a soft duster. You can also use a damp cloth on the face of the canvas. Do not use highly abrasive cleaning solutions or dusters.

Image and file support

Q.What image file types does IdioCanvas accept through its site?

A.Our website uploader accepts JPEG, TIFF, BMP or PNG.

Q.I have an image file type not supported by your uploader (i.e PDF, RAW). What do I do?

A. Contact us at for alternate instructions, we can provide you with a link to our FTP site.

Q. Can I send in a picture, negative of slide for you to scan instead?

A.Yes of course! We would love to help you get your creations on print. Just email us at with details and we will follow-up offline with you.

Q. What is the maximum file size you can accept through your website?

A.Our website uploader supports files up to 30 MB, if you have a larger file contact us at and we'll provide you with a link to our FTP site.

Q. Can you fix my image if it is pixelated?

A.No problem, we have a variety of effects and filters we can use to reduce the look of pixelation on your image. Just make a note of your requirement in the "Design Instructions" when you place your order. Your personal designer will follow-up with you and take care of the rest.

Q. What is your privacy policy with regards to the use of my images?

A.Check out our terms of use, but the short version is we'll never use your images in any manner other than to print them for you, without explicit permission from you.

Q. I would like to change the image that I originally submitted with my order. How do I do this?

A.Contact us as soon as possible via phone (+91-8019801314) or mail to and we'll provide you with instructions on how to send us a new image.

Q. What size image file is required to make the best possible canvas print?

A.While we specialize in working with images of all sizes, typically a file size of 2 MB or greater is enough for us to work with without needing to apply a low resolution filter.

Q. How much of my image will I lose if I choose the photo wrap option?

A.For Gallery wrap of 1.5" depth, we will use 1.5" inches from top and bottom and 1.5" inches from the sides.

Q. I'm not sure if my image is copyrighted or not, what happens if it is? Will you inform me?

A.We take copyright seriously and we know sometimes violations are unintentional. Having said that checking for copyright is your responsibility. If you are not sure of ownership, chances are you do not have the right to the image and we suggest you select a different photo to print.

Q. How will the colours of my digital image translate to canvas?

A.If you are worried about how your image may change, email us at we'll send you our ICC profile.

Q. Can I add text to my image?

A.Yes absolutely! Simply explain in the "Design Instructions" the size, colour, font, location, and of course, the text itself that you would like.


Q.I need my canvas by a certain date, what do I do?

A.If you need your canvas by a certain date, please indicate it as a separate note in the "Design Instructions" when you place your order. If the date is particularly soon we need to book priority shipping to ensure it arrives in time. Either way, contact us at info@idiocanvas with your order number after you place your order to confirm details.

Q.Will you send me tracking information once my canvas has shipped?

A. Yes, we will email you once your order has shipped with your courier tracking number.

Q. What are your shipping options?

A.Ground Shipping takes 3-7 business days. Rush Shipping takes 1-3 business days.

Q.Why do you charge my credit/debit card (or Bank) before my product has been produced?

A. Because everything we make is custom and produced on-demand, we must bill you in advance before beginning work. Don't worry we offer a 100% Guarantee.

Q. I cancelled my order, why haven't I seen a refund on my credit/debit card (or Bank account)?

A.It can take up to 7-10 business days for a refund to process through your credit card company. Contact us at for an ETA.
